Covering: Kentucky (I65W), Tennessee (27W), Alabama (I20N), Mississippi (I20N)
I was born in Louisville, KY and raised in a small town of Shepherdsville, south of the city. Hunting and being in the outdoors has always been a big part of my life. I am an avid bow hunter and enjoy shooting target archery during my free time.
I attended Bethlehem High School and went on to study at the University of Louisville to earn a Bachelors in Communications with a minor in Marketing. During my time as a student at the University of Louisville is when I started to get my first opportunity to work in the outdoor industry. I first started working as a Pro-Staff Representative. While working as a Pro-Staff Representative I travelled across all bordering states to work events for box stores and other hunting and outdoor expos. Upon Graduation I took a position working as a full time Outdoor Manufacture Representative. During my time as Sales Representative I covered Kentucky, Tennessee and Northern Alabama. I spent three great years as a salesman before taking a job with Tecomate Holdings.
In August of 2018, I started my journey with WJ Gartland and Associates. I took over covering the territory of Western Kentucky, Western Tennessee, Northern Alabama, and Northern Mississippi. My responsibilities and goals on a daily basis include: working directly with the manufacturers and dealers to develop new and existing relationships, meeting the needs of the market and creating new and innovating products with the manufactures that will help suit the always evolving industry, as well as building a foundation between the two to meet the needs of the customer base that we serve.
I am married to my wonderful wife McKinzee and we are expecting our first child, Emmerson, in February of 2019. Working in this industry really gives you a different outlook of the real world. To say I am lucky and blessed does not put it into words. This industry has done a lot of things for me and my family and I am always excited to be able to work in such an environment. Working with what you love every day truly is a blessing.
