In February of 2009, I joined the William J. Gartland and Associates team. I felt that my successful sales and management experience would be a positive addition and an asset to the group. In 1998, I started in a route manager position with a multi-billion dollar company that had over 25,000 employees. I achieved 125% sales growth along with the top sales award in less than two years, and was promoted to a sales manager position. In this position, I managed a 2.5 million dollar sales company with 20 employees and in two years achieved the top sales manager in the region award and second in the corporation with over 1.2 million dollars in growth. I was then promoted to a general manager of sales and operations managing a multi-million dollar facility with 60 employees, four sales managers and two operations managers. I was also the district training facility for all new employees. I held that position for 5 years with many achievements and successes. During the years 2000-2007, I completed many advanced leadership, management training and business coursework classes and programs. I am also proud of the fact that I promoted 8 people into upper and executive management while with this company. I have since spent the last 9 years in the outdoor industry. This has truly been enjoyable. I have effectively managed and grown these territories. These territories include an impressive dealer base, major distributors and large retailers.

I live in southeastern Minnesota with my wonderful and supportive wife and our two boys. I truly love what I do and enjoy every day I get to spend in a tree stand.
